This is the 50th birthday of The John Carroll School, marking the end of a year-long celebration that began last September and continued with many special events. Today's events included Mass in the gym and the unveiling of a Time Capsule, which had been sealed in April, 1988. The capsule contained many documents, artifacts and pictures of life at John Carroll from that time period. Celebrating the occasion with the faculty and staff, Francis Gibbons,'88 and Jan Houck,'89, read their submissions to the time capsule written in 1988. A picnic on campus with students, faculty, staff and guests wrapped up the day and the year of festivities.
