Last week we bid "au revoir" to 20 students and two teachers from Lycée Alexandre Ribot High School in Saint-Omer, France--the same school that Archbishop John Carroll attended in the mid-1700s! Several outings were organized, including a visit to the Basilica where they interviewed Archbishop Lori and had their photos taken with Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford at the Maryland State House. The students also visited Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and an Amish farm in Lancaster, and even got to experience our Halloween dance! We are grateful for the hard work of our World Language Department and Madame Ferry for making trips like these happen. In March, a number of JC French students will visit France to experience life and culture there, as well.
