For the third consecutive year, Dan Hentschel has had a film accepted into the Friends Video and Animation Festival. This is the longest-running high school film festival in the state of Maryland, and after a marathon session where dozens of films were judged, Dan’s Town Painters was chosen to be screened at their festival. Congratulations to Dan, who is also waiting to hear if his film will be accepted into the Baltimore High School Film Festival, to be held at the historic Charles Theatre on June 5. The Friends festival will be held this Friday, May 23, from 7 – 10 pm, at 5114 N Charles St., Baltimore, MD, 21210. Follow them on Facebook (Friends Film Fest) or go to https://sites.google.com/site/friendsfilmfest/submit.
Come and cheer on Dan and see his film – and many other films by talented high school filmmakers around the metro area - on the Friends screen!
