The John Carroll School Friend 2 Friend Club is filled with caring, kind, and fun-loving students who have chosen to make a differnece in the world. The Club, started by alumnus Nick Henninger '11 four years ago as a Senior project, connects JC students with mentally and physically disabled adults who are part of the Catholic Charities Gallagher Home group in the area. Once or twice a month students and their friends gather to have a party, go to a sporting event, or go on a new and unique adventure.
Most recently the JC Friend 2 Friend Club hosted its annual Halloween Party. Everyone came dressed up and ready to have a fun time. Students worked with their special friends designing Trick or Treat bags, carving and decorating pumpkins, and playing some Halloween games. Everyone had a wonderful time and friendships were renewed and formed fresh and new.
All students are welcome to join the Friend 2 Friend club and there are a number of upcoming events to take part in this year. Next up, the club will be going to support their fellow students by going with their friends to Disney's High School Musical.
