As Thanksgiving draws closer, we have much to give thanks for in the John Carroll School community. Over the last two months we have been collecting money through the sale of 'Patriot Strong' wristbands to help our Enrollment Director, Mr. Maynard, in his fight against stage 3 Colon Cancer. We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of our community that we have far exceeded our goal of raising $10,000 to help the Maynard family. Want to know how much? You can find out at the Thanksgiving Prayer Service on Tuesday, November 25th, 9-10:30am in the upper gym. We will be presenting the Maynard family with a big check, along with sharing our love and prayers for them.
In addition, since we hit and went over our $10,000 goal we will, as promised, be shaving the head of Mr. Tony DelPuppo. Along with Mr. DelPuppo, a few of our young men have also volunteered to get their heads shaved in support of Mr. Maynard. So all friends, family, and alumni are welcome to come and enjoy our Thanksgiving celebration together.
Also as a reminder - students who have a 'patriot strong' wristband on will be allowed to dress down on this Friday Nov. 21st. If you do not have a wristband yet, you can still purchase one in the school store or in Mr. Hollin's room (321) anytime. Do not purchase on the website as you will not get your wristband in time. Dress down on Friday Nov. 21st is 'casual dress' for those with a wristband according to the student handbook.
Parents, Alumni, and Friends - If you would still like to contribute to the I'm 4 Eddie Fund it is not too late and we will have the website open until this Friday - check it out here ... https://johncarroll.org/store/products/im4eddie
