Holocaust Remembrance Day is more than an important tradition for our seniors; it is a call to action to ensure that “never again” becomes a reality. The Class of 2022 had the opportunity to hear the moving testimonies of survivors of the Holocaust and their families. Additionally, students heard from keynote speaker David Estrin, founder and CEO of Together We Remember. David shared the stories of his grandparents, who were Holocaust survivors, as well as ways in which we can begin to turn "memory into action." To conclude the day, we were joined by Judge Paul Ishak '81, who moderated a courtroom-style debate. We are grateful to these survivors and their families, Mr. Estrin, Judge Ishak and program coordinator Mrs. Géczy for sharing their experiences and wisdom with us.
