On Saturday, January 18th, five John Carroll students traveled to Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, to compete against 49 other teams in the Maryland Science Bowl. Representing John Carroll in our first-ever appearance at the bowl were Josh Mannion, Susan Kim, Sydney Branch, Alex English, and Matt Walker. Although our team did not win any matches, they had some close matches and answered many difficult questions from all areas of science and math. Congratulations to our team for trying something new!
