With the help of some dedicated faculty and staff, every senior in John Carroll’s Class of 2020 received a special, surprise delivery to their homes this week! Three Patriot mini buses travelled around the state (and into Pennsylvania!) to drop off a one-of-a-kind care package that included senior banners, a yearbook and a cap and gown.
Thank you to all who were involved in making this special delivery come to life, including Mrs. Teel who assembled and organized the packages; bus drivers Mr. Tuttle, Mr. Teter and Mr. Howard-Franklin; and the delivery teams consisting of Principal Durkin, Mr. Maynard, Mr. Hensley, Mr. Hollin (AKA “The Patriot”), Mr. McGrain and Ms. Webb. We also want to give a very special shout-out to Safelite Auto Glass, whose team volunteered to map out routes that made it possible for our staff to deliver care packages to every senior in just two days! We hope our seniors and their families enjoyed the surprise as much as we enjoyed seeing those faces we’ve missed so much – from a safe distance, of course!
