The John Carroll community welcomes Mr. Todd Sullivan as Director of Institutional Advancement. Mr. Sullivan has spent the last eight years as Director of Philanthropy & Communications for Oak Crest Village in Parkville. In that position, he raised more than ten million dollars for the non-profit retirement community. Prior to his time at Oak Crest, he gained valuable marketing and development experience working for two of the nation’s leading non-profit organizations: the United Way and the American Cancer Society. He holds an MA in management of aging services from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, a BA in mass communications and an AS in marketing from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
A product of Catholic education himself, Mr. Sullivan is ready to help John Carroll pursue its mission. “John Carroll’s mission is one that goes beyond the classroom and teaches students not only how to make a living, but also how to live,” he said. “To have the opportunity to lead the advancement efforts as way to continue the tradition of John Carroll’s mission, celebrate those who have come before and help ensure a solid future, is an honor. It is an exciting time to be part of the John Carroll family.”
Todd Sullivan and his wife Wendy reside in Churchville with their three boys, Connor (10), Aiden (8) and Brady (7). They are parishioners at St. Margaret's Catholic Church. He spends his free time coaching baseball and soccer for the Churchville Rec Council and playing golf and softball. His first day will be February 1, 2016.
