Pure joy. That’s what the John Carroll community is feeling today as two of our students became baptized in Christ. Ashley Schwartz, pictured here with Fr. Matt Buening, was baptized Catholic and also received her first Holy Communion during our final school-wide Mass! After the Mass, Dulaney Schutz was baptized by Mountain Christian Church Pastor Nathan McDade into the Christian faith. The graces they receive through their baptism can be directly attributed to the Holy Spirit stirring inside of them after dealing with the loss of their friend Josh Hamer. “We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
