On Wednesday, May 23, JC held its annual senior awards ceremony. Many filled the upper gym as members of the class of 2018 were recognized for their academic achievements, perfect attendance, participation in various clubs and honor societies, and perseverance towards graduation.
The announcement of the most anticipated honor of the night was the recipients of the 2018 Black and Gold Awards. Congratulations to Chesca Basilico and Ryan Griffin who were recognized for their all-around excellence. The Black and Gold award is deemed the highest honor a John Carroll senior can receive.
