The John Carroll Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has kicked off another great year with some very fun meetings and an awesome social event. FCA is a inter-denominational Christian group that seeks to support student atheltes to grow in their relationship with others and with Christ. The JC - FCA huddle typically meets every other week on a Thursday or Friday morning from 7:00-7:45 in the Brown Room. There is a free Chick-Fil-A breakfast provided and a chance play a game, hear from a guest speaker, and learn about faith in God. Students also get the opportunity to win some fun prizes and hear about upcoming social events and service projects.
The first FCA social event took place in mid-October with the annual favorite Midnight Bowling Event. Students gathered at Forest Hill Lanes wearing some outrageous team costumes and lit the night up with their bowling skills. Teams won prizes for best costumes and team spirit along with a number of individual prizes for best and worst bowlers and other fun door prizes.
All students are welcome to join the Fellowship Athletes Group as we have a number of upcoming meetings, social events, and service projects coming up. You won't want to miss lazor tag, Operation Christmas Child - shoebox collection, and a host of upcoming guest speakers!
