What happens when you take 40 members of the Class of 2018 and 5 members of the Class of 2016 off campus for a day of Retreat? Well, take a look at the photos, for as they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”This year, under the direction of our new Campus Ministers, Mrs. Michelle Sullivan and Mr. Gary Meyerl, every member of the Class of 2018 is attending their Freshman Retreat in the first six-weeks of the new school year. The Freshman Retreat, designed to assist the newest members of our school community in their transition from middle school to high school, focuses on who Archbishop John Carroll was and what it means to be a JC Patriot. Led by five peer leaders from the Class of 2016, the Freshmen are given the opportunity to reflect on their experiences of the John Carroll community while examining ways they, too, can become JC Patriots!
