Congratulations to The Patriot newspaper and Kathy Deaver, one of the sports editors, for winning two awards for writing in the International Quill and Scroll Writing and Photo Contest. Kathy was a winner in the Sports Writing category for her story "Students Come Together to Raise Awareness," and in the News Writing category for her story "Godspell's Individuality Challenges Cast Members."
