Congratulations to Alex Kaufman, Class of 2016, who will receive his medal and neckerchief at a Court of Honor on Saturday, May 17, recognizing his becoming an Eagle Scout. Alex's project was the design, construction, and installation of a peanut-free picnic area at Beachmont Christian Camp (Kingsville, MD) for campers with peanut allergies. He chose this project after attending the camp many years as a child, then volunteering as a junior counselor as a young teen and wanting to give younger campers with food allergies a safe place to eat so they could attend and enjoy camp. He looks forward to his project being utilized by campers this summer.
