Around the World Fair

On Friday, January 31st, the Culture Shock Club invited John Carroll students to their Around the World Fair hosted in the Media Center. This all day event had a great turnout and introduced students to a variety of countries, cultures, and foods. Members of the club worked in pairs or small groups to research and create presentations on countries of their interest and ten countries were represented: Russia, France, Ireland, Kenya, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Chad, Columbia, and North Korea. Culture Shock is always looking for new ways to bring cultural understanding and diversity to the John Carroll community; if there is a country or culture you are interested in that you did not see Friday we urge you to join Culture Shock!! Meetings are Tuesday afternoons in Room 124.
