On Friday, the entire JC freshman class took a field trip to visit the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore, including the crypt of Archbishop John Carroll, where each student placed a flower. During their freshman retreat, these students were introduced to our namesake, Archbishop John Carroll, and the significance of his role to our nation and school community. We believe this additional experience will provide students with a firsthand perspective on both Archbishop Carroll’s spiritual and historical impact.
