JC had a successful Catholic Schools Week despite having two snow days, not to mention delays and an early closing! Our campus was filled with events that engaged Patriots of all types and eras:
- Students celebrated Catholic education with an Advisory Trivia Contest. Dr. Davidson and Mr. Scheide’s advisories won first and second place respectively.
- The Patriot community stepped up to support our school during the Day of Giving. This was our first year participating in the Many Gifts, One Nation campaign, and we surpassed our $5,000 goal by 77%, raising a grand total of $8,851 in just one day!
- Students also turned out in great numbers for our school-wide service project despite having to reschedule on short notice. They made PB & J sandwiches, casseroles, fleece blankets and tons of bookmarks!
- We concluded the week with a special liturgy celebrated by Fr. Steven Roth, director of vocations for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and a special visit and proclamation by Harford County Executive Barry Glassman for John Carroll's contribution to Catholic education.
- Finally, our faculty and staff were treated to a delicious lunch courtesy of the JCPA.
We are so blessed to have such a wonderful community - thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate our Catholic school!
