PENNY WARS
Monday, January 29–Thursday, February 1
...bring in spare change to benefit our Campus Ministry Programs! Students will put coins and paper bills in containers representing each class located outside the St. Jude Chapel.
Here are the Rules:
• Coins and bills count for one point per denomination amount (e.g., a penny is one point, a dime is 10 points, a $1 bill is 100 points).
• Pennies count as “positive points” and are added to the class total. However, silver coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) and paper bills count as “negative points” and are subtracted from the class total. The strategy is to fill your class’s container with pennies while filling other the class’s counters with silver coins and paper bills!
• Coins will be counted after school on Thursday
