Many small businesses have been forced to temporarily shut down in the wake of COVID-19 related closures. Some that have been able to continue operating, like Shorts Lawncare, LLC., are turning their gratitude into an opportunity to pay it forward. Shorts Lawncare, owned and operated by Brett ’20 and Austin Shorts ’22, along with their younger sister Sara, wanted to do something to help their fellow Patriots who have been impacted by the economic consequences of this pandemic and have decided to donate a portion of their April profits to the John Carroll Student Emergency Fund. We are grateful for students like Brett and Austin who know the true meaning of being a Patriot.
