Color Guard is a marching arts activity that incorporates the use of flags, prop rifles, prop sabres and a variety of other props with drama, dance and interpretive movement to enhance musical performance, elicit emotion and engage audiences in storytelling. More information about color guard here.
There are several opportunities to get involved this summer:
• Summer Guard: August 6–8, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Bring water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
o We will reinforce basics and learn the routine for the fall marching band season.

Health Forms & Athletic Registrations DueDue
Again this year, all student medical information and sports registration will be in Magnus Health, an online database. You have access to your Magnus Health SMR account through Veracross (click on the Magnus button in the Parent Portal). Enter or update the health information required within your Magnus Health account for each child attending The John Carroll School by August 1. If there are any changes to your child's health history since last school year, in addition to making note in Magnus, please email nurses@johncarroll.org.
eCampus Online Bookstore Opens

Class Schedules & eCampus Online Bookstore
Book requirements for next year have not yet been posted; they will be available for purchase beginning July 29 in the eCampus Online Bookstore. The School will send a reminder email.
Class schedules will publish in the Veracross Parent and Student Portals the week of August 19. New students will receive their schedules during Orientation.
HSPT Boot Camp
8:30-10 a.m. Continental Breakfast in the Cafe.
9-10 a.m. Parent Session in the Cafe.
9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Course in the 1st floor Academic Wing.
12:15-12:45 p.m. Pizza lunch in the Cafe.
